We spent a day in Chester and stayed at the Hilton. We got room service and gave Dad his pressies and a teeny little cake with one candle (I think there should have been more!) We went to Chester Zoo which was fab. I saw loads of animals and liked the little furry dwarf mongoose the best. We went in the bat cave and Dad was scared but I wasn’t! I liked the elephants too.
Spent 5 nights staying at my Auntie Shari and Uncle John’s house while they sunned themselves in swanky LA. (The Lows have better holidays than me!) It was a fab hotel and I got to sleep in a racing car!
We went to the beach with Aunt Rosina and I went paddling (in BARE feet!) in the North sea. I loved it.
I also went to see Great Gran Hill & went for dinner with Bad Uncle Barry (AKA Bub), Gillian and my big cousin Nicole. I had my first pub lunch off the menu too – spag bol…yum yum.
It rained but that didn’t spoil our fun!!!!!!
Mum and Dad took me to Huddersfield Carnival and we met Nana and Granpa there. I got a new blow up ball and had great fun throwing and chasing it. I loved the bright costumes and we had a picnic on the grass in the park. It was a lovely day and the sun actually shone!
Auntie Emily had a lot to drink and danced the night away. She says she is the “essential drunk relative at the party.” Not sure what that means but my cousin Jack kept telling her to stop singing so I don’t think he was too impressed! I thought her dancing was fab!
